The 69th Annual Golden Globe Awards

It would be hard not to talk about the dresses and glamour, after seeing the photos uploaded to every British press and fashion website this morning.

Some of my favourites include:

Charlize Theron looked stunning in Dior Couture and gorgeous vintage Cartier Jewellery.

Michelle Williams looked beautiful in a custom made Jason Wu gown and my favourite of the outfit, a cute vintage Fred Leighton for Forevermark headband and jewels.

Lea Michele I feel shocked us all looking beyond stylish and fabulous in a silver gown Marchesa S/S 12 collection number. This is most certainly my favourite of the night.

I can`t decide how I really feel about Elle Macpherson in this nude Zac Posen gown and Lorraine Schwartz jewellery. All though she does look beautiful and always will, I feel the dress is quite Barbie inspired and would have suited a classic up do rather than curls.

Mulberry Spring/Summer `12

Mulberry S/S 2012 campaign
Photography: Tim Walker
Models: Lindsey Wixson & Frida Gustavsson

Only word to describe this lot is Beautiful.

And a little favourite from the shoot forwarded to me by a friend

B`s a baby Momma.....

I may be a bit late in reporting this but its official Queen B, (not Blair Waldorf, the other one) has given birth.
I am slightly disappointed it wasn’t in February as I originally thought so I could share the day of birth with the heiress, but still very exciting.

After many celebrity tweets my favourite being Rihanna

Just imagine if you had an Aunty Rih!!

Obviously this baby now be the most popular on the planet and will have certainly over taken baby Harper-Seven Beckham and Suri Curise.

New Year, New Trends

I couldn’t help but looking at this week’s issue of Grazia and being excited for the new Spring/Summer 12 trends gracing stores everywhere.

This is just a quick few images of some that I will be buying into:

D&G excotic prints, which so far are being seen everywhere on the high street. From Topshop and Warehouse being some of my favourites.

Issa, Ladylike, very Kate Middleton

Louis Vuitton, Lady Likes and pastels like Mulberry
And maybe my favourite so far, Christopher Kane Pastel Denims

All images found from Vogue.com and Google image search.

New Year, New Blog.

Its been a long time since I blogged, but the festive season and my busy social butterfly calendar got the best of me.

However, with it now being five days into the new year I have made some very simple resolutions:

  1. Keep my weight at a happy level, by using a food diary. Very Bridget Jones Esque.

  1. Continue blogging, however on a regular basis.

  1. Buy more clothes, shoes, bags that allow me to look more Olivia and Carrie than ever.

  1. Finally, make savings. Money for a rainy day is something I have never had

All these seem doable, I already have my yearly gym membership that if I go to at least three times a week I should stay at a happy weight and avoid the moaning about muffin tops, fat thighs and wobbly bits.

My blogging once I have a new laptop charger shouldn’t be to much of a problem, but lets just wait and see.

As for number 3, that is not a problem at all. I will quite happily do that all through the year, however it may affect number 4 slightly.

So a little late than never but Happy New Year!!

Some may say..

That I have a slight obsession with Mulberry. They wouldn`t be wrong. But on Thursday night I was lucky enough to be invited to the Mulberry Stylist event, at the Manchester Spinngfields Store.
Mulberry Stylist Party 2011
The event was filled, with scrumptious canapes such as mini pies and fish and chips, along with gallons of gin.
I consumed a lot of that.
The store looked magical with there trade mark golden bayswater balloons, which I was lucky enough to bring home.

The bigger part of the night was a free prize draw to win the Spring/Summer 12 Evanglina Hobo, and out of know where my dear work friend Harriet nabbed it. So exciting, and this could only mean once having my nails done courtesy of Mulberry, and nailsrock, it was only right to celebrate with another drink.

And it all started over...

When I popped to Selfridges on my lunch break the other day. Mainly just to see if there was anything else I could add to my Christmas List.
However I was pleasantly surprised and then followed by a feeling of absolute awe, to see a smidgen of the Mulberry Spring/Summer 12 handbag collection.

Not since Mulberry launched the ever so sought after Alexa has a bag been named after a real life human. But the Mulberry Evelina, bag is the next big thing. Named after model Evelina Mambetova, who was seen strutting in the Mulberry sorbet coloured Spring/Summer 12 show.

With a very minmal Mulberry tree, to show off its heritage and its slouchy shapes, this bag would be perfect for any occasion.

However I am drawn to a certain few, and will be saving my pay to get my hands on one:

A girl can only dream. And with me gaining a guest entrance to the Mulberry Manchester Spinngfields party tomorrow, I shall keep dreaming,
